The lack of Johnlock on this blog is faulted by those on tumblr who are throwing massive fits on the Johnlock tag. From desperation and pleas -which this blogger can actually handle because I understand the upset as much as the rest of you- to angry fangirl jarble and ship-based hate, looking for the beauty is no longer an option. I would like to point out that while I do not like the idea of what spoilers are going on, this does not mean that we should act like five year olds throwing tantrums and acting as though our world is ending. You’re doing nothing but upsetting everyone, starting fights with your rage and demands that your opinions are better than the opinions of others and getting offended at every little thing. For the people who do not ship Johnlock, I do not agree with a good bit of what’s going on in the tags at the moment, but I must wonder if your having a fit at them and getting them even more riled up is even worth it. It gets other fans even more pissy and may even send a lot of hate your way.

I can’t change what goes on on any of these tags, so all I can do is blindly put my two cents in. We knew this day was coming, Johnlockians, Sherlockians of all flavors, and yet our response causes a civil war inside the fandom we love so much. I can only explain so much in this post, and I can’t offer up anything that will truly help, only request that some people get over themselves and enjoy the shows/books/movies for what they are. Isn’t that why we’re all here in the first place? Your pairing was rejected by the writers? Then do what you do best everyone. Post something productive. Write how it should have been in your mind, draw what you would have preferred to see. No one was laboring over the delusions that this wouldn’t happen, we all just wished it wouldn’t.

For my followers, I apologize for throwing my hat into the ring and will provide you with a Johnlock image fest to your liking momentarily.

Everyone’s spazzing about Martin Freeman having a tumblr, all that’s going to happen if you find his account is people are going to fan-ooze in his ask-box, insult him in his ask-box and complain about how he’s “ruined their lives”

Why do we need to know his account name anyway? He doesn’t owe us anything, he’s an actor and he’s already given us so much. From the Sherlock fandom to Hitchhiker’s Guide and so much more. Give the guy his peace as he continues to be curious about our tumblr world. All the more power to the man for wanting to know, right?

And speaking of wanting to know, anyone in this fandom should just be resigned to the fact that the main cast members of Sherlock should either already know about our little “kinks and interests” such as red pants or who we pair, or that they’ll find out eventually.

We’re not exactly quiet about it guys, I mean really. It’s like watching a guy go into subway with a blue turtle-neck and then telling him you saw him wearing the shirt while he’s still wearing it. It’s so obvious I wonder why everyone has such a fandom-fit.

By all means, be excited as you want, I’m not saying don’t be happy or anything, I’m just not surprised myself.

I just saw Johnlock referred to as ‘Shwatsonlock’

Shwatsonlock has always been my preference for the pairing name, it was there long before Johnlock came into the picture and I’ll forever love it the most. I still say it to my friends, but let’s be honest, no one wants to read the ship name Shwatsonlock so I’m stuck having to use Johnlock to get any and all points across.

God I miss Shwatsonlock…
